Koo Wee Rup Drainage Works (MRPV)
Under Major Road Projects Victoria’s (MRPV) ‘Tranche 2B’ collaborative procurement panel, Seymour Whyte was appointed as head contractor to design and construct an extra lane, upgrade of intersections and installation of safety barriers between Princes Freeway and Manks Road (southeast of Melbourne).
National Civil Co in collaboration with Seymour Whyte, have been completing, and continue to deliver, the stormwater drainage package for this project.
Our role involves the delivery of the critical stormwater drainage package for the project site, and includes various stormwater drainage alignments ranging in diameter and various sized reinforced concrete box culverts. Encompassing a comprehensive scope, our contribution extended to include the construction of associated stormwater drainage pits, the installation of pre-cast headwalls, the establishment of batter outlets, and the construction of sub-surface drainage systems.
Works have been completed successfully on site via an extensive works program in conjunction with the overall site staging requirements, subsequent site activities, road closures and road occupation works, with all works being completed on site with seamless coordination.
The synergy between National Civil Co and Seymour Whyte underscores our capacity to execute detailed works undertaken with a high degree of precision. As we contribute to the realisation of a safer and more efficient road network, our dedication to quality continues to shine through.
